Stewart College of Languages offers quality instruction in the language of your choice.  Instruction in French, Spanish, Japanese, Italian is readily available.  With a little notice, we can usually provide instruction in other languages as well, such as Russian and Korean.

We offer a range of programs to suit all kinds of learners:

A. Group Language Courses for Fluency & Travel

Do you want to brush up on your rusty school French? Learn Italian or German to better understand operas? Or maybe you're planning a trip to a foreign country for travel or business?

Whatever your language learning goal, we offer quality instruction in the language of your choice.

Our foreign language group classes develop your fluency in your chosen language. These classes provide vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and day-to-day expressions you'll be able to use, whether traveling, doing business or maybe just talking with international visitors!

Classes are on:
• Tues/Thurs 12:10 - 12:55 p.m. for 10 weeks or

• Saturdays, 9:30-12 pm for 10 weeks

B. Private and Semi-Private Classes

Private classes allow you to study with a qualified native-speaker teacher one-on-one. The course content can be completely customized to suit your needs. Students study this way to improve one particular language skill such as speaking or writing, or perhaps to give a fluency boost just before a trip overseas.

Semi-private classes allow two or more students of a similar level to have the benefits of a small, custom class for a significantly reduced price - with each additional student, the hourly rate is reduced.

Instruction in French, Spanish, Japanese, Italian is readily available for private or semi-private classes. With a little notice, we can usually
provide instruction in other languages as well.

• Classes can be scheduled on weekdays between 9 am and 6 pm, or on Saturdays when the school is already scheduled to be open.
• All scheduled private and semi-private classes must be paid for at the time of registration. Payment on the day is not permitted.
• Semi private classes must be paid for in one payment. Partial payments by individual members of the class are not permitted.
• Classes cancelled less than 4 business hours before the scheduled class, will not be rescheduled or refunded.
• All classes must be held at Stewart College of Languages.

D. Kids' Camps

For students entering Grades 3-6 early French Immersion in September, our French Immersion Summer Camps are an ideal way to brush up on French speaking, listening and vocabulary before school starts. At the same time, it’s a chance to make friends, learn a lot about French language and culture, and gain confidence in speaking French.
