Global Citizen Certificate

Stewart College Global Citizen students volunteering at Vic High

Be the Change You Want to See

In our Global Citizen Certificate, we inspire you to help others and engage with Victoria's community, all while using and improving your English skills!

In Power English Mornings you will improve all your English skills, particularly your fluency and ability to communicate.

In the afternoons you will take part in special initiatives focused on using your English to improve the world around you. You’ll learn about the culture of volunteering, and how it improves your ability to get a job. You will use English in a community fundraising project; give presentations; volunteer in the local community; write a blog; and meet local Canadians.

To join the program, you are:

  • At least 15 years old
  • An intermediate or higher level of English
  • In Canada on any kind of visa (all volunteer opportunities are unpaid, part-time, incidental to the study portion of the course, and are for charitable or non-profit organizations)

Start Dates
